Purpose of the job

This is on site duty role. The Primary role is to Plan and monitor Logistics field operation - inbound and outgoing deliveries in Co-ordination with Head- Logistics.

 

Duties & Responsibilities (Description of the tasks)
  • To supervise day to day logistics activities at Plant, Warehouse, Port and Railway Siding.
  • To maintain records for all inbound and outbound deliveries details
  • Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
  • Resolve any Customer Complaints and issues related to Logistics operation
  • Co-ordination with Other department inline to achieve company’s Goal
  • Liaison with external agencies i.e Port, Customs, Railways etc.
  • Ensure Man, machine and Material safety and avoid multiple handling of cargo
  • Time and Cost management in line with Company’s goal and target

 

Job requirements (Educational qualification, work experience, required technical &functional skills)
  • Bachelor degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Should have experience in Port Operation, Rail and Road Logistics
