Job Overview                        : Lead and coordinates activities concerned with continuous improvement of all SEZ plant related activities, driving the organization toward efficient operations, by performing the following duties.

 

Key Responsibilities Areas :

 

  1. Work extensively with institutes of continuous improvement to implement the 5S, TPM, TQM and sustain it with respect to derived standards.
  2. Deliver training and handholding to employees on IMS Standards, CI Standards, Tools & techniques.
  3. Leads the continuous improvement process in IMS, 5S, TPM, problem solving methodology (QCC, LSS), Kaizen, etc., form inception to completion.
  4. To monitor & ensure the audits at all processes against the requirements of standards / procedure / work instructions / other documents and to assess the level of compliance with the IMS, 5S, TPM requirements.
  5. Highlighting processes along with their performance with respect to CI requirements.
  6. Reviewing the reports related to CI activities – IMS, 5s, TPM, Suggestion submission, spot recognition etc.
  7. To monitor & ensure that audits are completed as per the plan and schedule.
  8. Presenting the performance level of CI activities in different meetings / forums.
  9. Authorized to review and finalize the presentations for the meetings (including all meetings)
  10. Authorized to communicate the requirements of CI processes internally to all process owners.
  11. Monitor and execute the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring to ensure that CI objectives and metrics are being met and maintained.

Maintain the cost-benefit analysis for of CI activities

Core Competencies:

 Should be a certified auditor on Integrated Management System (QMS/ EMS/ OH&S).

Should be a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from reputed institution with completion of Black belt projects and having excellent skill in lean tools & techniques.

Excellent Skill in the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and play the role of TPM secretary & coordinator.

Excellent Skill in Total Quality Management (TQM) and play the role of TQM secretary & coordinator.

 Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.

Ability to coordinate with team and manage crisis situation

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

 

 

Qualification                          :  B. Tech / BE in Mechanical / Chemical Engg with six sigma  
      certification or lean manufacturing processes

 

Experience                             :    Around 13 -16 years

 

Experience in working with Continuous Improvement initiatives in a plant level environment is a must. Has proven exposure in successful implementation of CI Initiatives (5S, TPM, TQM) with substantial improvement data set.
