Graduate Engineer Trainee - Civil

Role Purpose: To support the Civil Engineering and Projects team in planning, execution, and monitoring of civil works across plant facilities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision & Execution

Assist in day-to-day supervision of civil construction activities at project and maintenance sites. Monitor ongoing work such as excavation, PCC/RCC works, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, flooring, drainage, road works, and structural foundations. Verify field measurements and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

2. Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure timely progress of work. Support in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Assist in planning material requirements and monitoring consumption at site.

3. Quality Assurance & Technical Support

Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, company construction guidelines, and relevant IS codes. Assist in conducting quality checks for concrete, materials testing, and workmanship inspection. Review construction drawings and report discrepancies to the senior engineer.

4. Safety & Compliance

Follow company SHE guidelines strictly and ensure safe execution of all civil activities, report unsafe conditions and participate in toolbox talks and safety audits.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain site records including DPRs, measurement books, checklists, and inspection reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (2024/2025 pass-out preferred).

Technical Skills:

1. Basic knowledge of civil engineering construction practices.
2. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
3. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and surveying instruments (Total Station / DGPS preferred).
4. Understanding of concrete technology, foundation design basics, and material testing.

2. Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
3. High level of discipline and safety awareness.
4. Good analytical and problem-solving approach.
5. Commitment to work extender Hours .
