Job Overview                                 :    To work in shifts as Control/Desk Engineer in Co-generation plant

Key Responsibilities Areas :

1. Responsible for the duties of Control Engineer/DCS Engineer in Cogen Process
2. Working in shifts for operation of Boilers, Turbo generator and its auxiliaries, Auxiliary boiler and other areas related to cogeneration plant.
3. Responsible for safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the plant to achieve targeted production.
4. Responsible for safe start up, shut down and emergency operations of the Co-gen plant.
5. Co-ordinate with all maintenance agencies to get all operational problems rectified.
6. Train and guide all the personnel working under his control to carry out their functions.
7. Follow all safety rules and procedures laid down in the plant.
8. Maintain ISO documentation.
9. Follow all relevant SOP’s /Work Instructions in the plant.
10. On hands experience in operating high-pressure boilers with pressure rating around 65 kg/cm2 and temperature of around 485 deg.C., Turbo generator, Boiler feed pumps, Circulating water pumps, Compressors, Seawater cooling tower and other auxiliaries related to thermal power plant.
11. Preparing Notifications and issuing Work permits etc.,
12. Knowledge in SAP operating system.
13. Knowledge in QMS (ISO) system.
14. Knowledge in Industrial best safety practices.

Qualification                          : B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical engineering, Possessing BOE

Work experience should be around 10~12 years in any Thermal Power Plant in the capacity of 50~100 MW plant as DCS/Control engineer.
