Diploma Engineer Trainee - Instrumentation

Job Overview                   : This position is responsible for supervising and ensuring effective execution of instrumentation activities plant operations, including maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and minor modifications. The role focuses on enhancing plant performance, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting continuous operations.

 

Key Responsibilities Areas :

 

  • Assist in day-to-day instrumentation maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
  • Support preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection, and testing of instrumentation equipment under supervision.
  • Learn and follow established maintenance procedures, work instructions, safety standards, and operational practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation issues and participate in identifying corrective actions during breakdowns.
  • Support engineers in monitoring and improving instrumentation system performance and equipment reliability.
  • Assist in maintaining maintenance records, calibration reports, and equipment history in SAP or other maintenance management systems.
  • Participate in plant shutdown and turnaround activities related to instrumentation systems.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist in the inspection and verification of instrumentation materials and spares received at the plant.
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and other plant operational activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and operational excellence programs.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements of the organization.

Qualification                          : B. Tech / B.E in Electronics & Instrumentation

  Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

 

Experience                             : 0 - 2 Years
