Job Overview                   : This position is responsible for supervising and ensuring effective execution of instrumentation activities plant operations, including maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and minor modifications. The role focuses on enhancing plant performance, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting continuous operations.

 

Key Responsibilities Areas :

 

  • Supervise day-to-day instrumentation maintenance activities within the plant to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement procedures and work instructions for routine maintenance, calibration, and shutdown activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and implement improvement opportunities in instrumentation systems to enhance plant performance and equipment reliability.
  • Act as a contract coordinator to ensure contractors and vendors comply with plant procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements during maintenance and service activities.
  • Verify and inspect incoming instrumentation materials and spares to ensure they meet technical specifications as per purchase orders before issue for plant use.
  • Provide technical support during maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown situations by identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.
  • Support maintenance planning by providing accurate data, history, and records of instrumentation activities for proper documentation and integration into SAP.
  • Actively participate in operational meetings, safety initiatives, and plant-related discussions relevant to instrumentation and maintenance performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through active participation in 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence programs.
  • Promote a culture of maintenance excellence, reliability, and workplace organization within the plant environment.

 

 

Qualification                          : B. Tech / B.E in Electronics & Instrumentation

  Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

 

Experience                             : 04 Years to 08 Years
