Rain CII Carbon is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage, support, and guide plant maintenance personnel at our Lake Charles facility. This role helps ensure the continuous operation of facility equipment by planning, organizing, and coordinating routine maintenance, major maintenance, projects, and turnaround activities.

Reporting directly to the Lake Charles Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor communicates and collaborates with production and maintenance personnel, engineers and technical personnel, management, vendors, contractors, and other outside business contacts. Key responsibilities include:

• Promote safe work practices and support efforts to prevent OSHA-recordable injuries and illnesses.
• Support compliance with applicable environmental permits and requirements.
• Manage routine and major maintenance costs in alignment with established budgets.
• Support facility operating-factor goals through effective maintenance planning and execution.
• Maintain and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program.
• Plan and manage mechanical turnaround work, including budgeting, schedule development and maintenance, bid-package preparation, execution, and job tracking.
• Provide day-to-day direction, support, and guidance to Maintenance Technicians.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or another applicable engineering discipline, plus at least three years of related work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, evaluate and negotiate purchases, administer bids, and manage projects.
• Experience working with vendors and contractors and managing plant personnel.
• Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or a similar computerized maintenance management system is preferred.
• Strong maintenance knowledge and familiarity with the operation and maintenance of rotating equipment, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues, solve problems, and plan and execute plant-equipment maintenance.
• Experience conducting root cause failure analyses, maintaining kilns or dryers, and applying reliability functions is preferred.
