Purpose of the job:


•    - Supervision of a team of Utility Operators 

Duties & Responsibilities:


•    Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes.
•    Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
•    Strong Leadership skills. Must Implement and enforce company systems, policies, and procedures.
•    Conduct/Lead training.
•    Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
•    Responsible for assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards and resolving operations problems.
•    Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
•    Professional appearance and attitude.
•    Excellent communication skills
•    5 - 10 years in similar field.
•    Must be able to work in union environment.
•    Must have experience in LOTO and Permitting system.
•    Some knowledge of SAP.   Create and report back production process orders in SAP.
•    Monitor raw materials inventory and reorder as necessary. 
•    Must be able to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
•    Manage and make decision for changes to Process Operations Parameters for optimum efficiency and product quality.
•    Investigate and follow-up on the corrective actions on product quality nonconformances.
•    Monitor and Manage All loading and unloading of Products and Feedstock.
•    Respond to emergencies.
•    Report and investigate all health, safety and environmental incidents.
•    Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental controls are applied to protect operating personnel, the environment and the public. Comply with the requirements of the                 Quality, Environmental and Management Systems.
•    Process Time sheets and payroll. 
•    Conduct daily tools box meeting.
•    Attending Daily Production and maintenance meetings to plan jobs as needed. 

Job requirements:


•    Minimum requirement of Chemical Process Technologist or equivalent relevant to job description.
