Millwright is required to assist mechanical supervisor to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on day to day and during shutdown. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance department.

Duties & Responsibilities:


•    Perform maintenance activity on plant equipment including pumps, mixers, blowers, valves, heaters, pressure vessels, columns, exchangers, loading arms etc.
•    Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and conduct unscheduled equipment maintenance as needed
•    Perform laser alignment and regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns
•    Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and work performed
•    Interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand mechanical systems and components
•    Operate machine shop equipment, drill press, lathe, milling machine, read blueprints, and use precision measuring instruments
•    Collection of Vibration Data from rotating equipment
•    Work at heights – operation of forklift and zoom boom
•    Work in confined spaces
•    Maintain good housekeeping at work place

Job requirements: 


•    Experience as millwright in a chemical plant/process industry is essential
•    Must have an industrial millwright license - 433A
•    Proven experience in repairing and maintaining various types of pumps, including centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps
•    Proven experience of maintaining mechanical equipment
•    Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
•    Strong drive to make things happen and a strong “can do” attitude
•    Good written and verbal communication
•    MS Office, Knowledge of SAP – PM Module
•    Must be a team player and be able to work under changing priorities
