Purpose of the job:


Oversees internal and external quality control activities including analysis, instrument qualification/preventive maintenance, and training. Schedules and coordinates the routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products according to standard operating procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:


•    Recommend manufacturing or technology aids to increase speed and efficiency.
•    Supervise the selection, workflow, training and development of staff.
•    Assess production process issues, and recommend improvements.
•    Supervise product testing to ensure procedure accuracy.
•    Record and Report issues
•    Conduct Product Tests and Assessments
•    Support Process Improvements

Job requirements:


•    Knowledge of GMP, ISO22716 and ISO 13485 an advantage. Experience working within a team environment. Experience in leading  a team an advantage. Experience delivering work-based training to new and existing staff is desired.
•    3-5 years experience
•    Experience with quality control techniques like Six Sigma an asset
•    A bachelor’s degree in science or business-based programs an asset
